Heather Kinney, DC, BA
Dr. Heather Kinney was born in Brazil and raised in Central Washington where she keeps a close relationship with her family. She graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, then went on to graduate with a Doctorate in Chiropractic at University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College) in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Heather spent her last three months on a preceptorship with two fellow doctors in the Seattle area where she found her foundation in patient care and practice management. Dr. Heather consistently lives a healthy lifestyle and wants to instill the same values in her patients through quality care, home exercise, and nutritional guidance. Her love of the profession will shine through at Performance and Spine Chiropractic Center and make a lasting impression on all her future patients. She has wanted to be in the health care field giving back to her community. Dr. Heather’s specialties are family practice, overuse injuries, postural overload injuries associated with teachers, secretaries, manual labor etc., pregnancy/postpartum pain, infant to adolescent children and sports performance related conditions. Her educated background and wide variety of techniques are a perfect match for any presenting condition or patient.
Jonathan Kinney, DC, BS
Dr. Jon was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Jon accelerated through Oregon State University to arrive at University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College [WSCC]). At WSCC Dr. Jon received two degrees: A Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. He spent his last quarter working in Kirkland, WA working under Dr. Lew Estabrook who was Chiropractor of the Year amongst his peers in Seattle Magazine on three different occasions. Dr. Jon got to observe and participate in multidisciplinary care where chiropractors worked closely with physical therapist and medically managed care. Dr. Jon’s experiences outside of school with different chiropractors has molded his vision of chiropractic which will be projected through Performance and Spine Chiropractic Center – “where the patient comes first”.
Dr. Jon has also been a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and worked as a Personal Trainer at the Seattle-Downtown 24 Hour Fitness and 24 Hour Fitness-Tualatin Super Sport before he started into practice with Dr. Heather. Dr. Jon has also participated in multiple lifting seminars which has increased his knowledge in evaluating and treating lifting technique and form.

Goretti Nguyen, DC, MS, BS
Dr. Goretti (Dr. G) was born and raised in Wilsonville, Oregon. She attended Oregon State University for her undergraduate studies, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in General Science. She went on to attend University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where she obtained here Doctorate in Chiropractic and Master’s in Sports Medicine.
Dr. G’s primary focus as a chiropractic physician is to assist patients in meeting their physical health and fitness goals. She first starts by a thorough examination and series of questions to obtain the patient’s health concerns and goals for treatment. Secondly, she does a complete physical exam addressing the patient’s pain and mechanical dysfunction. She develops a treatment plan based on her exam findings and the patient’s needs which usually includes adjusting of specific areas to help with restoring proper joint motion, soft tissue work to relieve stress of overactive tissues or hypertonic muscles and corrective exercises to promote functional movement. Throughout the treatment she will help correct any biomechanics based on the patient’s occupation and physical activities.
Dr. G strive to offer her patients with quality care to achieve their health and physical goals by providing her patients with the tools that enables them to stay active and resume activities without pain and limitations.
When she's not treating patients the clinic, you can find Dr. G at the gym and cooking/baking for her friends and family.
Andrea Whiteaker, Office Manager
Andrea grew up in Oregon and graduated from Wilsonville High School in 2001. She moved to Woodland, California for 13 years and realized she missed Oregon. She has two beautiful daughters that are keeping her on her toes constantly. She has a love for animals, especially cats and dogs, and a love for wearing outrageous t-shirts. One of the things she likes about Chiropractic is the variety of patients that respond positively to care. She also takes pride on making patients feel welcome in our office and always welcomes them with a smile on her face. When she is not working hard in the office you can find Andrea spending time with her family, reading a good book, attending Comic Cons, and cheering on her favorite sports teams (Green Bay Packers and San Francisco Giants).
